Controlled Speed |
| I have tried many different Stiga blades. I use Stiga exclusively. I have tried the carbon only blades, and the off+ wood blades. I found the carbon blades too inconsistent. The all-wood blades felt slow. Lets be honest, you need some composite material if you are going to add any real speed. By chance, I ordered the CarboKev WRB. The difference is amazing. I suddenly had power and speed, but it was a little more controlled. That was all I needed. I started landing more shots and it felt good in the hand.
When combined with Magna TC II and regular Magna on the backhand, the sound and feel was great. This is my blade. I may experiment with similar rubbers in the future, but I will always use this blade. |
