Brand Tibhar
|
Used by Vladimir Samsonov. The best rubber for winning under the new regulations, with even greater advantages compared to a fresh glued rubber. Hard VIP sponge gives a great speed boost, while allowing the spin and finesse needed for the modern game.

My new back hand rubber |
| I normally go with a soft rubber on my BH. But this rubber changes my view. This is a very nice rubber with good balance between spin and speed and control. I can make a big swing on my BH with heavy top spin and still be able to control the ball. If I need to do a spinny opening loop, this rubber delivers as well. But you do need to have good stroke to use this rubber. But if you can develop good stroke, you can trust your stroke with this rubber and it will do well for your game. |

New Favorite |
| I am using this on my forhand with a Galaxy W6 blade and...wow. I was afraid it was going to be too fast for the short game but the sponges hardness is offset perfectly with the soft topsheet. I was able to loop off of underspin very easily and generate tons of spin under any circumstance. The previous review was correct in that you have to be confident in your strokes and commit to them or else it the rubber will control the ball rather than you controlling the ball...if that makes sense.
So basically if you are a beginner looking for a fast rubber then this is not for you, if you are a player with good strokes and feel you have mastered slower rubbers then this is definitely worth a shot. |

The best rubber ive used |
| I use Nimbus Max on my BH and VIP on my forehand and the combination is incredible. The only thing I would say, is you have commit to the stroke for the rubber to perform at its max potential. You really need to feel comfortable in your strokes to be consistent with this rubber; I would not recommend this to people who arent comfortable looping continuously, or who are still developing their loop. |

You want me to review from pros angle or from the average Joes angle |
| I am writing this review because I feel Tibhar didnt do a good job in advertising its true cababilities. Normally, amature players prefer rubbers with soft sponges, but very few actually know that real world class players would rarely choose soft rubbers. The reason is amature players lack the techniques and strength to "hit through" hard rubbers, thus unable to exract the rubbers full potential and blaming the hard rubber uncontrollable. But, with correct strokes, arm/leg techniques, and strength, hard rubbers like the Nimbus VIP can generate unbelievable amounts of spin Chinese call it the second kick and speed. If you want to learn the Chinese techniques in close the the table technical game which is now clearly the dominating technique, only hard rubbers like Nimbus VIP can provide. |
