Omega V Tour from Xiom:  Phased dynamics in the energy transfer between a ball and a rubber determines the rubber performance. Traditionally phased physical dynamics has been developed to produce the maximized spin and speed easily at lower swing speed. But the table tennis professionals can deliver solid contacts to the ball at higher swing speed. Their energy can be transferred more efficiently and precisely with the new dynamics, specially phased for the professional play. OMEGA V focused on the new dynamic mechanism for top professionals. Solid clicking, energy-charged repulse, and precise energy transfer allows the advantageous edge in small and big shots of the professional game. Experience the new dynamics and Win with us.

  • New Power Dynamics for Tour Professionals
  • Hyper Charged Power and Spin
  • Amazing Precision on Passive Shots
Good choice if you play close to table loop/hit

Used on FH of a 5 ply all-wood blade. This plays similarly to Omega IV Pro in my opinion. Sponge is fairly hard. When putting a big stroke on the ball from close to table the speed is still quite manageable. I had to open my racket angle for loops and counter loops as the rebound angle seemed low. I could perform close to table counter loops more easily. Control for short game is great as the sponge doesnt engage. I think this is a great choice for hitters, blockers, and close to table loopers. I do not recommend if you like stepping back a bit as youll really need to muscle the ball over the net.

Omega V tour keeps the good tradition
1/8/2015

I tried 1 piece on my Bty.Taksim CPH blade last week and I just like it very much. I used many pieces of Xiom Vega, Omega 4 & Sigma 2 (all Europe, soft+) in the last few years. This new version of Omega 5 Tour really keeps the good tradition of Xiom rubbers. It is Med+ in hardness. It performs very good on all areas and is a easy transition from the above soft Xiom series, it is good for the new poly balls. Try it, you'll like it!
