The soft version of Nimbus will definitely impress all players who like playing with very soft offensive rubbers. Tibhar Nimbus Soft has exceedingly perceptive ball control and was developed in such a way that, even in extreme playing situations it will provide a large margin for technical error. Thanks to Tibhar's highly successful SPI technology the integrated “speed glue effect” is now naturally incorporated within the rubber.
Best tensor rubber Ive tried so far...
7/11/2011

Since the glue ban Ive been looking for a rubber that had a built in glue effect. So far Ive tried Genius, Genius+ Optimum, Magna TC II, Tenergy 05 and Sriver G2 FX. All of these rubbers did not feel 100% like glued rubber. It seemed as the throw angle was a little off or they didnt allow you to go through all the gears. Many were hard to control with a full loop kill swing and I only had the ability to play the long angles and any attempt to go for the shorter wider angle was extremely risky. Plus I like to change my racket angle just before contact to hit either the inside or the outside of the ball. This was a recipe for disaster with most of the tensor rubbers that Ive played with. The other big problem that I had was finding one sheet of rubber that allowed me to both aggressively attack some under spin balls while safely looping others. Most of the tensors only executed one good. Nimbus soft on the other hand feels like a glued sheet of Bryce or maybe Cermet. There is no problem looping topspin, under spin, counter driving or blocking. It does all of these things well. It is a little hard to push aggressively and consistently but I suspect Ill adjust OK over time. I am a little concerned about durability though. After only 4 hours of play the sweet spot looks a little worn. However there is no change in the quality of the rubber. Even if I only get two or three months’ worth of use its still cheaper than paying $75 a sheet for Tenergy 05 and I like Nimbus better anyway. I may continue to try different rubber but Nimbus replaces Tenergy as my new benchmark. Amazing stuff! Nimbus soft on the other hand feels like a glued sheet of Bryce or maybe Cermet. Nimbus Soft

I agree with all the above comments about this rubber. I started to use one last night on my FH, C-arylate blade, My loops & pushs were 90% successful, very spinny serves and short plays. It is definitely one of the best soft tensor rubbers I have been using compared with Stiga Neos & Almana Sound SynTech, Bryce FX Speed, Yasaka Extent HS. etc. The only thing is the durability since German rubbers in general not last as long as Japaneses but will report later! Since Nimbus lines have so many choices, be careful of what you buy, they perform very differently.

I love this rubber, but...
11/7/2009

My favorite thing about this rubber is the feel when counter-looping. Its got a corky feel. The ball stays in there just a fraction longer and gets good mechanical spin, giving a nice arc back onto the table. Combined with the loud pop it makes this a really fun rubber to hit with. People I play think its fresh glued. It has good power, though noticibly less than the Nimbus Medium I have on the other side. But the power drops off dramatically when you hit soft. If you drop a ball onto it from a foot high, after the third bounce it goes dead very quickly. How this translates into my game is on soft pushes and touch shots Im dumping a lot of balls into the net because theyre not going as far as I expected. With time Ill adjust. This also could be due to the blade since I havent heard this complaint before. Im using a fairly light offensive wood blade.

After I stop using Rapid and Torpedo rubbers, looked for glue efect built in rubber. At same time I want some softer sponge so I put Nimbus soft on my new Tibhar Sensitec xeon blade.Amazing:control, spin ,block, push, flat smashes on same racquet.

Best rubber I've played with.

This is the best rubber that I have played with regardless of brand or price. It has everything control, spin and speed when smashing or flat hitting. Many more gears than every rubber that I have used 40+. I will only play with this from now on.

gr8 rubber

i tried my freinds and its very spinny (more spin than mambo h) but more controle to. it is also a very powerful rubber as well.the no1 under 13 boy in england uses it to i think it's a gr8 rubber and am getting it soon

Amazing Rubber

After trying this out last friday night with a friends racket, and not missing a loop for over 10 minutes, I put the racket down and picked up the cell phone to get two sheets of this rubber. This is the fastest, spinniest, rubber I have ever tried and has excellent control- I say again - excellent control! This is the best kept secret on the market at any price.

Tibhar nimbus soft

This rubber plays really cool, it has the sound, feel, spin and speed of a glued rubber without the change in feel that occurs when gluing. It is relatively soft and it's very light.

good addition to the Nimbus line

The Nimbus Soft, be it less powerful than the regular Nimbus, generates great spin with the right techiniques. Touch shots and short games are a breeze. Don't forget, it's still a rubber with high speed and loud sound. Backhand off-the-bounce loop drives are deadly and spinny. Med distance counters provide good speed and directional control. All in all, it's going to be an excellent backhand rubber after the glue ban.
