From Promise to Champion: Paddle Palace’s Mia Yang Captures U.S. National Title

Every once in a while, you witness a performance that reminds you why investing in young athletes matters.

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Paddle Palace sponsored player Mia Yang on an extraordinary performance at the 2026 United States National Table Tennis Championships in San Jose, California.

At just 9 years old, Mia captured the U-11 Girls’ Singles National Championship, accomplishing something truly remarkable. She won the title without dropping a single game throughout the tournament.

Her outstanding week included:

• 🥇 U-11 Girls’ Singles National Champion
• 🥈 National Runner-up
• 🥉 National Bronze Medalist
• Three national medals in one championship

As impressive as her medal count was, Mia’s biggest accomplishment may have been earning the No. 1 overall ranking in the U-11 National Team Trials, securing her place on the 2026 U.S. National Team.

This September, she will proudly represent the United States at the Pan American Youth Championships in Houston, Texas.

A Championship Built on Growth

Mia’s journey throughout the National Team Trials demonstrates the value of perseverance and continuous improvement.

* First Trials: 3rd Place (4 losses)
* Second Trials: 2nd Place (1 loss)
* Final Trials: National Champion (undefeated)
