Paddle Palace Club & USATT's SafeSport Program

SafeSport Starting on January 1st, all USA Table Tennis (USTTA) sanctioned club are required to have their staff and coaches compliant in the USATT SafeSport Program. The purpose of the program is to create an environment of protection, safety, and professional conduct for all at USATT clubs and tournaments. At the Paddle Palace Club in Tigard, Oregon we believe there are many reasons to participate in Table Tennis – at any level. Table Tennis is a life-long activity which promotes and encourages a healthy lifestyle, and builds self-confidence. Table Tennis athletes learn about discipline, teamwork and many other life-long skills. Unfortunately, sport can also be a high-risk environment for misconduct, including emotional abuse, verbal abuse, and physical & sexual abuse to either minors or adults. All forms of misconduct are intolerable and in direct conflict with the tenets / ideals of USA Table Tennis and the Paddle Palace Club. Below is a video showing the importance of the SafeSport Program. The Paddle Palace Club Coaches and Staff are all SafeSport Certified and strongly recommend that all serious table tennis clubs and coaches take advantage of this great program. To learn more about the program and to sign-up please visit USATT.
