Donic
Donic is a second-generation German table tennis company in the second which has become one of the world's most important manufacturers of blades, rubber, tables, textiles and other table tennis equipment.
World and European championships, as well as national and international titles have been won with their equipment.
Donic was originally founded in Cologne, Germany by its eponym Doctor (DO) Georg Nicklas (NIC). When Dr. Nicklas wanted to move to Sweden at the end of the 80s,
he sold his company to the Schreiner family. This was the beginning of their success story. It was through a friendship with Frank Schreiner that Jan-Ove Waldner – one of the most legendary
table tennis players of all time – became Donic's world-famous brand ambassador in 1993. And from there the tagline was born – DONIC... CREATE SUCCESS.
