Sarah at WTT Youth Event

Dear Paddle Palace & Nittaku,

I just wanted to give you a quick update on my results and experiences over the last month and what is coming up in the next couple of months for me. From February 14th-21st, I played my first two Youth WTT events in Metz, France, and Spa, Belgium. It was my first time going to Europe which was very exciting, and I was able to celebrate my 16th birthday in France! I was also very happy with my results as I was able to win the u17 event in Belgium and make the semi-finals of the u19 event in France! There were so many close matches along the way, but I was able to stay mentally strong and pull through! This was such an amazing experience to play and meet different people. It was also a great confidence and motivation boost for me to continue to work hard!!

For the next couple of months, I have some big tournaments coming up including the Puerto Rican Teams tournament from April 8th to April 10th. Coming up in June and July, I have the USA National Team Trials and the USA Nationals. If I am able to make the team, I will have the opportunity to go to many other international events. Also, in September and October, I will be going to Chengdu, China for the World Team Championships.

Thank you so much for your continued support, and I will continue to do my best and be a good representative of Nittaku and Paddle Palace!

Thanks,

Sarah Jalli
