Denmark’s rising young star, Michael Maze helped design and plays with this Arylate/Carbon blade. Similar to our popular Timo Boll Spirt model, this blade offers a little more speed and even more control. With a med-hard feel this is a perfect blade for hard hitters. Its good speed to control ratio make the M. Maze destined to become a classic.

AWESOME |
| This blade is AMAZINGGG! The perfect blade for players who are trying to advance the CORRECT way. I would recommend this blade to ANYONE who plays a strong loop/hitting game. |

Micheal Maze Blade |
| I really liked this blade because with Tenergys, the racket is really light. This blade has a lot of control, while also being very light. When you hit the ball with this blade, it will give the player a feel for the ball. I would recommend this blade to intermediates and experts |

Great quality blade |
| I've played on and off with this blade for a couple of years now and it's one of my favorites. Very well-made, this blade has a great big sweet spot and feels very consistent across the face of it, which adds a dimension of control to its all around attacking properties. Some prefer a blade that gives more feedback (vibration) than a carbon-arylate like this one, but if you're used to a carbon blade, it'll feel smoother and more controlled. Butterfly advertises it as having a medium feel and to me that translates to a relatively short dwell time compared to flexy looping blades like the Galaxy 986, but with better over the table control for the short game and hitting - very "do everything" in that regard. The speed is rated higher than the other A-C blades BTY makes and it may be a bit fast for a beginning player (not to mention expensive if you're not sure what you want yet!) Additionally, I find rubbers to play with a somewhat higher throw angle than softer blades that I own, although not as high as the carbon-cannon that the Maze replaced. Mine has a flared handle and it is very, very comfortable. All in all, a great blade from Butterfly if the price isn't a big issue. |
