Calibra LT Sound from STIGA has a soft sponge, making this rubber suitable for all types of players that like the attacking game. With the softer sponge you get more control, especially for blocks and receiving serves, but you are still able to make lethal strokes to finish your opponent. The soft sponge on the Calibra LT Sound will also give you a crisp clear sound when striking the ball. This is the closest you will get to the feeling and sound of speed glue!

With the Calibra series STIGA has created a totally new dimension to the game. We focused on creating a longer trajectory on the ball, as a long trajectory in today's game is more and more important. The combination of spin, speed and long trajectory is unique to this rubber series; you have never felt this level of play before. With the Calibra LT rubbers you will be able to perform strokes and shots never before possible. You will still have control for all the small shots and service return, but when you are attacking you will be in a totally new world. The Calibra LT series will take your game to another level.

Great Sound and Feel, bye bye to the speed glue...
1/11/2019

I was a national team and a college champion team member(Mayagüez, Puerto Rico 1996-2003). In the past used Donic Vario Soft, Sriver FX and Mark V GPS(all with banned speed glue) The sound and feel I get with calibra lt is the same with little less spin but not much of a difference... I’m happy with it really recommend it over rakza 7 soft and Donic vario bigslam if you’re looking for sound and feel. Don’t miss understand me this last two rubbers are great, is just that they have less speed glue effect in them... I really really like calibra lt sound ,”WOW”

Extremely Soft Rubber with Excellent Speed & Spin
12/22/2012

Ive tried many different rubbers and this would be in my top 5, along with Tibhar Genius, Genius Sound, Genius Sound Optimum, and Donic Bluefire M1. This rubber feels softer when smashing / looping than any rubber Ive ever used, but to my surprise it is also an excellent chopping rubber. Would not recommend for blocking, and durability was disappointing but thats fairly normal with soft rubbers. Would not buy again at its current price of $49 due to the lack of durability, but it is a very good rubber for the first 30-40 hours of play.

I found this rubber insanely bouncy. I have Tibhar Grip S, which is supposed to have a speed glue effect... Nothing remotely comparable to the spring from this stuff. And the sound is amazing, like you hit a snare drum from a racket WITH this rubber, silenced by the sponge... If you buy 1 rubber this year, buy this one. its worth the extra $

This rubber is very good in sound, spin & control,I was using sriverg2 fx & almost i used so many fast rubbers but this type of spin & speed i have never come across, there is a great kick in topspin & even topspin rallies u can easily control the loop & speed,Thanks stiga for this great rubber!I am playing with stiga cc-7 & bhkd joola-samba-n-tec,great combo but little bit higher speed, but im trying to put both side the calibra sound! If u wanna good game pls try this!!!then U will also report like me!

great rubber overall
1/7/2011

I have been playing this rubber for a month on Timo W7 and I am more than pleased with the spin on serves, control of short returns of service and speed on opening loops. there is a very good balance between spin/speed for this rubber. The low trajectory is very evident having played Tenergy 25 before. It takes some getting used to from mid distance if you are used to a high throw rubber. Close to table counter attacks will sink quickly and with good speed. Compared to Tenergy, Calibra instills a better sense of control when you need it most, serve/return and opening loops. Spin and speed are similar to Tenergy but you wont get the big arc so some compromise is needed. Calibra Sound has an incredible sound as well, people keep asking me if Im still gluing, insult! I guess they have to have a reason for why they cant see the ball and only hear the contact!
