I have the 2.0 version. It is very spinny, has a catapult effect as it holds the ball very well. It is medium hard. My loop was effective with this, not good if you try to hit flat. Good intermediate rubber

Purchased this rubber on my first combo paddle. it was my first custom built paddle. Im new to the modern paddles and all of the rubber choices. After playing with this rubber for a few months I have no complaints regarding its performance. Ive greatly improved all shots from loops to chops to pushes. The rubber provides considerable spin and isnt so fast that you loose control of your game. I do recommend it to the intermediate level player. I am disappointed with the fact that after only a few months of playing twice per week the red sheet has many chips and peels around the edge. I still recommend as it has helped me improve my game by a considerable amount. Id rate 5 stars if not for the peeling around the edge.

Really can find no shortage on this rubber, good spin, good control, enough power… however nothing can surprise me, except its control. I feel so much more confident to attack short return than using other rubbers. If you has no problem to use soft sponge, it is worth to give it a try.

Excellent spin, good speed and control, but lacks durability

Got the max sponge in black. My last rubber was max Tibhar Genius Sound. From the first day I loved this rubber! It really grabs the ball and has tons of spin. Just the right amount of speed to be aggressive but still maintaining control. I play 1-2 hours a day 5 days a week and after six weeks this rubber is already starting to show noticeable signs of wear, especially around the edges. Would rate 5 stars if it was more durable.
