Donic BlueGrip S1 is the proof that a little bit of extra hardness can make all the difference.

The new addition to the BLUEGRIP table tennis rubber series is slightly harder than the BlueGrip S2, but significantly softer than the C1 and C2 versions. Donic gives sponge hardness for most of its rubbers but is missing for S1/S2. Can these be provided?

Hello,

You pose a good question, and it seems you are correct that there is no easy way of determining the exact sponge hardness for these rubbers. The hardness is medium - hard (Similar to Tenergy series) for the S1, and the S2 is a bit softer. I hope this helps!

Do I need to buy 2 to fully cover a paddle? Or is it a set?

You will need two sheets of rubber to fully cover one paddle, they are available for purchase as individual sheets because many players like to mix and match their rubber sheets when they purchase from us.
