Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft uses the same top sheet as Rakza 7, but with a softer sponge which gives the rubber more sound and built-in speed glue effect. With Rakza 7 Soft the control characteristics are improved. After hitting the ball with top spin the curve of the ball is slightly higher, giving little bit bigger margins in the game. In the short return play, the ball feel is better.

“Great ”

“Nice but - you must use a very thin layer of glue on the sponge (thicker glue on the wood is no problem). Otherwise the glue gets into the sponge and you get dimples in the hitting surface. Also "Maximum" sponge - I have not seen anything thicker than 2mm (carefully measured with calipers).”

Rakza 7 soft compared to Pryde Series
9/28/2011

I agreed with the above comments on the comparison between the 2 series of Yasaka rubbers. Pryde 40 performs better than Razka Soft overall & 30 is better in control, but not in speed.

excellent rubber

I have used Mark V, Mark V m2, and now rakza 7 soft and rakza 7. rakza 7 soft is really good for looping, spinning and also really fast. I use is with stiga tube light with forehand with soft and backhand with normal... It definitely one of the best rubber yasaka has to offer...

un poco mejor

This rubber is slightly better than the hard version but not much, if you have more spin, more control but less speed Ive tried it on stiga tube of aluminium good result, Donic top speed good result, but for my taste and a lot of colleagues the Pryde and pryde 30 are much better by far.
