You dont need to be a defensive player with this blade, it has enough power to smash any ball but is very light. It seems to excel at long chops from the end line with low angle and absolute precision. Im going to put a sticky rubber on this and it should do a great job.

The first thing you notice when you pick up this blade, is how light it is. It is VERY noticable. I have JUIC 999 Elite Defense on one side and Nittaku Narucross Soft on the other. With both rubbers, especially with the JUIC though, the amount of control you get with the paddle is amazing. There is definitely a power trade off though. You really have to wail on the ball to get speed on it. This is the perfect defensive blade, or for use as an all around blade for the recreational player.

The great thing about this blade is that you can play great D and also be aggressive.I play with 999 defense on forehand and long pips no sponge on backhand and reached 1800 rating
