This is a Japanese styled rubber (by a Japanese brand) it is not sticky like most Chinese rubbers. It is somewhat transparent (red side). The top-sheet is medium in thickness (thicker than most Chinese rubbers I've come across) and it is fairly elastic. The sponge is very firm but it gives (semi to moderately hard). The sponge is not at all like the DHS T2 NEO (it is much harder), it is closer to the Nittaku Flyatt Hard (also a decent rubber). The rubber has a pleasant scent unlike many Chinese rubbers that smell like dead fish (do NOT sniff any rubber).

I have played with this rubber for five months now, and I must admit...This is the best rubber I have ever played with so far. I love it more on my backhand side. Looping is great! And what surprised me was the amount of control you have with this rubber such as blocking loops and smashes. I also tried it with the new plastic balls, and it works well with that too...:)

Well, Nittaku does it again! I expected this rubber to create great spin and speed, but I was taken back a little bit on how well I could place my serves with this rubber. If there are any downers to this rubber it would be that I did expect a little more speed from it (still plenty fast), and that it actually does need some breaking-in time (it's possible that I just needed to adapt to it). I use this rubber on the the Nittaku Flame Carbon (beautiful combination) I have used many different company rubbers (Stiga, Donic, Andro, DHS, ect.) But the only company I keep coming back to is Nittaku.

This rubber is great. Fast, great spin ,powerful with good control. Niranjan, your Nittaku Violin paddle is not a fast paddle that's why it slows down this rubber. Get a fast paddle like the Nittaku Flame Carbon and you will see the ball really go fast !!

I have Fast arc S1 on Nittakku Violin as my FH rubber and its a great all to do rubber on this blade and excels in control / spin however when it comes to speed it is okay at the table however when you step back one needs to really put good effort from legs with proper twist forward and great accelaration to get good speed / spin in counter looping and if you do so it really excels too. Smashes and counters at the table are great and the feeling is excellent i must say coming from new generation large pore rubbers.

Is it tacky ? What rubber top sheet is it most like ?

I am using this rubber now on a Bty Tasksim blade. I bought 2 when it was on sale in PP. It performs very well in everyway if you like med soft new generation large pores rubbers, this is for you. I also tried the G-1 which is too hard for me and no sound. It has a medium life & durability. A sure good buy if on sale.
