With Tibhar Grass Defense, the wave of these longest (and legal) Japanese long pips at bat and ball contact, is similar to waving grass in the wind.

The Defense version with soft sponge is a dangerous but yet very easy defensive rubber to play with. The Offense version with harder sponge is best suited for an active combination game aiming to trouble your opponent.

I think the sponge is much softer than 50. It is certainly softer than the offensive version. It has a lot of control on blades with a soft feel, allowing offensive strokes against a variety of spin returns.

The sponge is very soft and the pips are very pliable which allows for a variety of options.
