They give you plenty of tape, in fact I used one strip for two rackets and the other I doubled - full wrap up the handle and back down again - just to see what that would do to the feel. Turns out the thicker handle helped me tremendously to alleviate strained forearm muscles from over squeezing too small a grip. As for feel I havent noticed any loss as you feel most accurately between the thumb and pointer finger. Vladamir Samsonov seems to do just fine with grip tape on his paddle :-
