Pure speed for unconditional offense: five Ayous-plies surrounded by two rigid Hinoki-plies provide an incomparable penetrating power. Even with slightly slower arm movements precise and hard strokes can be achieved. The core of more elastic Ayous-wood permits dangerous top-spin strokes from half-distance. For absolute offensive players with good technical skills willing to take risks.
My favorite so far

I recently came back to the game after a PP table was introduced at my office. Last time I played was 10 years ago. I used to be a defensive player playing with short pips, but have totally transformed my game after watching Wang Hao on youtube. I switched to penhold and drive the ball with heavy topspin at every opportunity on both wings. And, I've been buying up rackets (cheap ones, cannot afford to experiment with hundred dollar blades), and slapping Hurricane 3 rubber on them (that's all I can afford). I have 6 rackets, all with Hurricane 3 rubber on them, and I like the CS7 Velocity the best. All of my blades are $50 or less, except for my 15-year old racket, the Nitakku Monophonic, and the Ma Lin Extra Offensive penold blade. I'm not sure why I like this racket the best, it just feels good to hit with it. I chose the straight handle and my penhold grip feels good with it. With my other rackets, some of them I modified the handle in order to make the grip feel comfy, but this one, I didn't modify. The speed is good, the feel is good, and I personally like the head shape, which is wider at the middle of the racket, and less wide at the top of the racket... at first I thought this would be a problem for me because I hit the backhand drive near the top of the racket, but I actutally think it helps to have the top of the racket be less wide. The other thing to note about this racket is that it is visibly thicker than my other 5 rackets. I dont think it's that much thicker, but it is definitely thicker. I also really like the surface, nicely polished/smooth and new and this made it easy to apply the rubber. This is my favorite racket so far!
