The Nittaku S-5 is part of the S-Series, and is a product of German craftsmanship and European spruce wood. Spruce is well known as an exquisite wood that is used in the highest quality musical instruments.

Nittaku's S-Series brings you this high quality wood for a reasonable price. The S-5 is a midweight, offensive blade with 5 plies of Spruce wood. The laser mark seal used on the black cherry handle keeps the natural wood beauty of the handle. Made in Germany.

The all-wood S-5 blade plays with great control and yet paired with good offensive rubber (in my case Nittaku G1 Fastarc and Tibhar MX-P) gives great hitting, blocking and looping response. Extremely well made.
