Great New Pips Out Rubber! Royal features a medium sponge that incorporates STIGA's fantastic Nano Composite technology. The Nano Composite sponge uses a new mixing technique to create extremely small grains (as small as 50-100 nanometers) that result in stronger and tighter bonds to produce maximum dynamic effect. Royal is built for speed: it is STIGA's fastest pips-out rubber. Despite being fast, it still can produce a good deal of spin while giving you the control you need. I use this rubber with 2.0 mm sponge. Blocks great and quick for finishing off points. Player are often surprised by how fast their smash comes back at them. Also good for counter hitting and more spinny than you would expect.

Jim, thank you for the review. We find that you are correct on your assessment and we have made an adjustment. The Royal speed/spin ratings are now consistant with the ratings info we have from STIGA.

Is the speed a 7.2 or more, like a 10? It is Stigas fastest pips out, according to Stiga, so why only a 7.2?
