The rubber has somewhat of a feel between jap/euro rubber & tacky chinese rubber. It is good for topspin game, and allround game,,,due to being hard and slightly having a tacky feel it enables player to have great control and touch. Compared to my previous rubber tenergy 05 B/F
Spin: I feel like with a proper stroke MX-p has better spin-harder for opponent to read.
Smash: Tenergy is much better in this category, Mx-p due to chinese rubber feel tends to put the ball down and does not have enough rebound energy.
Touch: Mx-p is much better, but it takes a while to adjust from a rubber like tenergy due to total different feel and trajectory
Speed: When smashing Tenergy faster, and playing slower have strokes Tenergy better, but when you fully commit to the stroke Mx-P can produce deadly fast and low to medium trajectory topspin that will give oponent more trouble than same stroke from Tenergy.
Mx-P lacks the nice sound and is somewhat not that much fun as playing with Tenergy 05. Even the topsheet does not look as high quality as Tenergy, Mx-P has this weird shine to it and when you press finger on the rubber hard it will leave a dent.hole that will dissapear within a minute or more....
One thing that I need to give MX-P is that my opponents in the club I play had difficulties reading spin and playing against me... Its all because 85% people I play with uses tenergy and despite how good it is, they all are used to its spin, high trajectory etc.... you give them a rubber like MX-P to play against and they totally are out of their game!
I really like this rubber despite many poor qualities I mentioned above, I would really like the topsheet to be less shiny and the rubber to be slightly faster without loosing your arm on the swing....
I also forgot to mention, if you think Tenergy is heavy...try this beast on a blade like mazunow and you better have some sort of wrist/handle lock/bracelet in order to secure your paddle in hand...otherwise you will be swingin a racket that is as heavy as you blade with 3-4 tenergies ;-
