25 years ago I played a custom bat. Magnesium handle with a 15 degree offset. It was skinned with Yasaka MKV 2.0mm. Upon returning to the game, I dug the olde blade out and after being overwhelmed by the sheer variety of rubber now available, I was thrilled to see that MKV was still available. Re-skinned the old bat with MKV. Meanwhile.. having discovered the Nittaku Tenaly with offset handle I decided that Im back in the game and loving it so why not go for the technological update. Procured the new blade Tenaly Carbon and went for the latest Yasaka technology... the V-Stage. It plays very much like the MKV but is MARKEDLY spinnier and faster. Supposedly its rated a bit lower control wise. Im seeing that a bit but then its hard to determine if its the rubber... or my game on a given day. I will in all liklihood procure it again when the time comes!
