Yasaka X-Tend

Brand: Yasaka
Rubber Type: Smooth
Speed: 85
Spin: 82
Control: 77
Hardness: Medium-Soft

The Spin Machine! No speed glue needed! "Tension increase" gives you 2/3 more spin and 50% more speed.
Great for Back Hand

A very good linear, fast rubber for BH with good spin. Much more control than high powered tensors with slightly less speed and medium throw. Great for close and mid distance play. Great quality.

Not a bad rubber, but not great

I ordered this rubber twice, the second time by accident. The rubber plays well, moderately fast with moderately good spin. I found it to have a nice low throw angle. It didnt last as long as other rubbers Ive had and thats why I gave it 3 stars. I play 4 to 5 hours a week and the rubber seems worn out after 6 months.

I couldnt ask for more from a sheet of rubber! Lots of speed, and well above average control! Id give it an 8 out of 10 when it comes to durability. Overall, a solid purchase..... Im placing another order after I submit this review.

A great rubber!

I have tried different rubbers including those made by Butterfly, Mark V, Friendship and always came back to this one. It provides me with both control and offensive power. I just wish they would make a 1.8 thickness rubber. I used it with the Yasaka Ma Ling hard carbon pen-hold racket the soft one is no good, it improved my game tremendously, especially my forehand. I tried Butterfly rubbers before and they were too fast, too spinny and too expensive. However, be careful and make sure you use only the regular X-tend because the other X-tend rubbers did not seem to be as good, some were way too soft.

Extremely Pleased!!

I have played with Mark V for decades. Tried other rubbers, but always went back to Mark V. I like the new variations as well. Never thought Id see another rubber that satisfied me...until Xtend!! Wow! Love it! I used to speed glue and now that I cant, this is the rubber for me. Very spinney and very fast. Promotes good strokes, because half strokes fly off the table. If you used to speed glue, I highly recommend Xtend.
